I wish the statue was clean enough to admire its beauty. The water in the lake was still. That caught my attention.

This is King Lear's statue in Watermead Country Park, Leicestershire, UK.
*** The main lake at Watermead is King Lear's Lake and has been named after the legend of King Lear, who ruled Britain in the 8th century. On his death, he was buried in a chamber under the River Soar.

The statue is built on a platform in the lake; it shows the final scene from Shakespeare's play King Lear. ***
