Behind The Lens
Location
Took this at a local park.Time
Around sunsetLighting
I knew I wanted the sun to be in it and behind my son. With that in mind, all I needed is to how I wanted it to come out. I just waited for the right moment to take the picture and snapped it. Take your time to compose the image and wait until the right that "that's it" moment to snap it.Equipment
Sony A6000 with a 14 mm rokinon lens.Inspiration
Knowing how my lens makes the sun come out at a low aperture was the main idea. I had no plans for it and decided to see what happens once we got to the park.Editing
Nothing extravagant basic adjustments and some vignetting. In my camera bag
Two cameras, lens, batteries, and a lens cloth.Feedback
Know what your lens can do and how it effects the images and be patient until you find that moment. I always read of photographers taking a lot of rapid shots and then go back to see if they found a good image. The problem with that is; how are you going to train your eye to capture that decisive moment?
