Location
The photo was taken in a private house that was used as a venue for model shoot. There are lots of models and photographers present. I am a photo hobbyist and consider myself as an amateur photographer.Time
The photo session started at about 7 o'clock in the evening, since the participants (models and photographers) have this time available to all.Lighting
Since the venue is with less light because the schedule was made in the evening, it is preferred to make the shot in low key setting to isolate the subject.Equipment
I used a Canon EOS 7D with a 24-70mm 2.8L Lens. Activating the flash to give highlight to the model and set it at 1/250 sec., f/6.3 and ISO-320. This was taken with my camera handheld.Inspiration
During the photo session, models were assigned to photographers by group. There are various models assigned to our group but this model interest me the best. Her body is proportionate and she looked very simple but colorful indeed. I feel I can make her shot amazing because of the color combination of her attire which matches well with her beauty.Editing
Lightroom 4 was used in my post-processing because I have no knowledge on how to used Photoshop. Enhancement was made simple by just adjusting the contrast, sharpness and colors. I also darkened the background to emphasize a low-key feature. In my camera bag
My camera equipment depends on the type of photography sessions. During model shoot, I brought 2 cameras to ensure that if the other give up, I have a back-up. With regards to the lens, I have a 50mm prime lens with f/1.8 for low light, a standard lens of at least with f/2.8, a flash, flash trigger, tripod, reflector and umbrella. I also bring extra memory cards. For landscape, travel and other outdoor shoot, I include filters and additional lens for variety of shots.Feedback
My advice is to bring only the needed equipment on the type of shoot you are going to attend to make you travel light. Bringing a lot of equipment will only make you confuse. It is better if you have an all around lens with you all the time.
