I was on my way out of my neighborhood & off to visit my aunt & uncle in Bowie, TX, when I noticed a few mama ducks w- their babies in the small lake behind our house. Of course I had to stop. The mamas are not too keen on being approached & made it rather difficult to get decent photos.

Lovely shot. And very interesting--there's mama duck all black and white and red surrounded by these little balls of yellow fluff. Quite a contrast.
