Ralph Dawe the Legend leading a great wall of water

If you surf and have ever spent time in Bali, Hawaii, Humboldt County, Brazil, or even Hungary, you have probably heard of Ralph Dawe. Perhaps you even caught the mtv reality show "Living Lahaina". Ralph is a phenomenal surfer and king of the party. He is truly a blast to be around, all the time. He is also an oceanographer, free diver, spear fisher, abalone diver, and more. In this shot he is leading an epic swell that occurred on Thanksgiving. The waves were up to 40' that day and he made it look easy. Most surfers prefer the barrel shots, but I love this shot because it gives perspective and there is a lot of power in that whitewater, just as there is a lot of power in the being known as Ralph Dawe.
