In November of 2012, I had the privilege of accompanying my husband on a Platinum Contractors awards - business trip hosted in Whitefish, Montana. We stayed at The Lodge at Whitefish Lake which is surrounded by exquisite mountains & flanked by Whitefish Lake. A pier extended over the lake, which was replete with textures: solid ice along the shore line, ripples upon ripples of crystal ice bits, broken blocks that looked like stepping stones, & rough, choppy water further out due to the wind. We were well fed & highly entertained. We snowshoed trails near Whitefish Mountain's Lodge (surprisingly good exercise, by the way), celebrated St. Patrick's Day on downtown Main St. (my 1st ever Moscow Mule - yum!), & enjoyed a day of snowmobiling w- the most competent of guides. This trip was a shutter bug's dream.
