Whilst travelling the Fife Coastal Path, I came to Aberdour, a photo location I'd researched with quite a few points of interest, one being the Hawkcraig Point Lighthouse which provided some excellent views across the Firth of Forth river in Scotland.
Composing my photo, I liked the idea of the derelict concrete jetty leading my eye through the photo, with the rocks following my eye up to the Lighthouse. Using my Vanguard tracker 3 tripod I set up my Canon 6D in a portrait orientation, I felt that this was the best position for concentrating on the jetty and the lighthouse. Edited using Adobe Camera Raw and Photoshop.
