Inspiration

In Dublin at the moment there is a homelessness and drug addiction crisis. This photo was taken on Grafton Street which would be the busiest shopping street in Dublin. I wanted to show the contrast between those who have nothing and those who would be out shopping.

For street photography I keep it very simple usually using only my Sigma 50mm 1.4 lens

Feedback

Sometimes photographing vulnerable people is seen as a cheap shot and many street photography forums I submit photos to don't allow such shots. When I see a shot like this I want to take I try not to show faces
