Behind The Lens

Location

It's a rainy Saturday morning in our office located in Quirino Province, Philippines while waiting for our boss to be ready for our trip to Banaue, Philippines last December, 2015.

Time

I used to capture macro pictures and most of time, and since my jobs requires 8 hours I only have time catching picture during mornings or in the afternoon, on this picture, i took this picture eight in the wherein during this time of the year rain comes and goes with out further warning from the weather system.

Lighting

I'm more on the darker side of photos, I felt that darker colors makes images emotional rather than the images that are brighter. most of the time i use the ISO that can show darker images as much as possible to capture the raw emotion o fan object. in this picture i was thinking of lonely weekends due to sudden rain falls.

Equipment

Camera: Canon EOS 700D Aperture: f/5.6 ISO: 800 Shutter Speed: 1/100 Focal Length: 52/1 no other equipment used

Inspiration

I'm inspired by a teacher of mine in college, i used to not care on photos, but when she explained the art of how to take a better photo than i used to do. i was also inspired by local photographers that i used to work with.

Editing

in this picture no. most of my pictures did not undergo post-processing, the edited one's were edited here in viewbug and just for fun, but I never did once edited pictures since i really wanted a picture to be in its raw form. unedited photos makes me realize how i achieve something that worth sharing.

In my camera bag

my Camera: Canon EOS 700D, a pen and a notebook, aside from photography i also likes to write poems and shorts stories using the photos that i have taken.

Feedback

try to make a story in your head and take it out in the photo.
