I spent the summer of 2014 driving and camping all across the west of Montana and into Idaho and Washington, sleeping in my car. This photo was taken at Finley Flats just outside Thompson Falls, Mt., on about July 2nd. This old couple had just slowly rowed across the water barely making a ripple with their small boat. With the evening sun setting and the water like glass, I think conditions made for a great capture. Hand held with a canon 7D, 24 - 105 L lens.
