Thank everyone. Such a surprise for me this morning. When we had this ice covering everything that morning, I took off to see what I could capture and was fortunate enough to find this.

Location
This photo was taken on the shores of Lake Astoria near the small town of Astoria South Dakota.Time
Took this photo after an unusual Dec. 2015 rain shower witch left everything covered with ice and when the sun came out mid morning, I grabbed my camera and took off.Lighting
This ice storm in Dec. meant the sun was very low to the south when it did appear and shining through the ice on the trees created this beautiful scene.Equipment
While driving by this lake, I just stuck my Sony A6000 camera out the window with the aperture at f22 and shutter at 1/800, and started shooting the the sun while moving slowly so I could later pick the best star burst.Inspiration
When the sun comes out and reflects off the ice that has formed on everything because of mid winter rain storm, you just have to get inspired.Editing
I think it was just lightened a bit to bright the trees. In my camera bag
If I'm just out and about, I generally just bring my Sony A6300 with an 18-200mm lens. I'm not a pro but do some occasional portrait work with the 18-200mm and a 50mm 1.8 lens. I have an old tripod that I got from my Dad who was a film photographer. I also carry a 2 Godox flashes with the Godox remoter controller, a yongnuo 560 and an olympus fl-50 that I can control with cheap cowboy studio remote controllers, and the usual stands, umbrellas, softboxes, color gels, etc to do most everything that comes along.Feedback
Just pay attention to the weather, sun and other conditions and hope you can take advantage of the situation when it comes along...
