When you are photographing animals they say you should focus on the eyes. But when you are photographing chameleons they should say which eye!

Location
This was taken at the Newport Aquarium in Newport KYTime
It was in the afternoonLighting
It was fluorescent lighting but in a large building so the light was not overwhelming.Equipment
I use a Nikon d3200 and my lens is a Nikon 18-300. No tripod or flash used.Inspiration
I love chameleons and he was definitely posing. I could've watched him all day and of course photographed him.Editing
If I did it is very little with a photo editor program I have. He didn't need much touching up.In my camera bag
Of course my Nikon d3200, Nikon lens 18-300 and my 50mm Nikon lens. I use my monopod a lot it is less wFeedback
Always look at any animal or object to be a photo opportunity. When I photograph animals I love shooting tight on their face to capture the spirit and personality of the animal. More advice is to just be patient and watch the animal or person. You will know when it feels right to capture the right moment.
