It was taken in the woods in Hocking Hills Ohio.Time
I believe this was taken in late afternoon early evening. The cabin that my husband and I stayed at it was very dark when the sun went down so we didn't stay out late.Lighting
It was all natural lighting with all the trees it was just the perfect amount coming in. With it being late afternoon and early evening the sunlight was not so harsh.Equipment
I have a Nikon D3200 and at the time If this picture I used a nikon 18-270 lens. I did not use a flash.Inspiration
I loved the path from the cabin and the lines in the tree so I put the camera close to the ground and shot up and out.Editing
I used very little.I love black and white photos and when I used that filter i really liked it with this look.In my camera bag
Nikon d3200 camera and I now have a Nikon 18-300 lens. I don't leave home without my 50mm lens. I normally have a monopod with me.Feedback
When you are in the woods just look around and look up. There are so many things to look at when you are on a hike. The simpleist thing such as a row of trees can turn into something amazing.
