Frodo is one of the other old stars of Dr. Jane Goodall's study group. He was one of the leaders for a long time, using politics and connections to gain status. After a fall from grace (due to illness) he rose on the social ladder again by teaming up with the, at the time of my visit, his distant and much younger cousin Ferdiand. Eventually that coalition ensured that Ferdinand became the leader and Frodo number 2 again. You see him here at 42 years old, lying on the ground and grunting to let Ferdinand know he was being teased...sure enough the latter came to help his old companion out..
