In the Spring, typically, my pond is full of water and, thusly, waterfowl of various type. I hardly have ever had water in the pond in the Winter, so these Whistling Wood Ducks were a bonus entry into my photographic day this time of year. I managed to snap this image with the male and female facing in opposite directions with enough of each showing for easy identification later.
