Behind The Lens

Location

Goderich, Ontario, Canada on the eastern shore of Lake Huron (the middle lake of the Great Lakes).

Time

Obviously taken during the day, but in the afternoon when the sun was beginning to shine through the ice.

Lighting

The lighting was natural light.

Equipment

This photo was taken with my first DSLR (Nikon D3100) with the kit lens.

Inspiration

Our winters can be brutal at times. Seeing such beauty as this makes winter a bit easier to handle.

Editing

This photo was one of my first HDR photos.

In my camera bag

I have the kit lens, macro, wide angle and two telephoto lens.

Feedback

Always look around, up, down, far, close. There's always something beautiful near. My big love is birds at the current time. Once, I saw a Bald Eagle and pointed to it for others near me to see. Did they look up? No. They looked around. Don't be like them. LOL
