I took this photo as a part of a motherhood project series I am working on. This mother lost her partner and the father of her child shortly after becoming pregnant. I titled this photo: Leave a Light On For Me While You Are Gone." I will always remember the way she sang to her son so gently to sleep prior to this shoot.
