When the Oregon Coast has even a 10% chance of rain, it's likely you'll never see the sun. This day was stormy with heavy wind, rain and high surf. I was aiming for a more dramatic scene when I came down to shoot, but was surprised by a brief moment of sunshine! I'm so happy I had my camera by me.
This image was taken on the North side of Secret Beach on the Southern Oregon Coast. It's a compilation of three exposures. One for the foreground with the rock and sand, another for the middle section of water and sea stacks, and the last for the sky.
