Behind The Lens
Location
This photo was taken at Gabriel Dumont Park in my hometown of Saskatoon, the park is so beautiful with trees, walking paths, a play ground and you can walk down to the sandy areas by the river.Time
This image was taken in the afternoon on a hot summer day, as i was sweating from being in the sun Amanda was getting nice a cool in the water. We ended up having lots of fun despite the heat and took some really great photos.Lighting
I used all natural lighting that the sun gave me, I did not want to blind Amanda so I had her turn around so it would be shining on her back giving that extra glowEquipment
The equipment that I used was my Sony Alpha A300 with the basic lens, no other equipment was neededInspiration
Amanda wanted to build her self confidence by going out of her comfort zone and take some tasteful photos for her bf at the time, so instead of doing them in a studio we decided to go out into natureEditing
The only editing that I do to my photos are just the basic. I remove blemishes, smooth out the skin a bit if needed. I try to keep my photos as natural as I possibly can. Sometimes I brighten the image up and make things more vibrant. In my camera bag
I normally have my camera, extra batteries, a few memory cards, different sizes of lenses, and camera/lens cleaning stuffFeedback
If you ever get a chance to come to Saskatoon go down by the river it is so beautiful and there are plenty of photo spots that you can take photos, and don't be afraid to go out of your comfort zone
