This shot is evidence that you shouldn't put your camera away after the sun has gone down. Twilight on the Okavango Delta. We were camping for the night on an island in the delta. I had taken several shots of the sunset and was relaxing, enjoying the view when the sky turned luminous orange.

It was so dark that a 4 second exposure was required. Not having a proper tripod with me, I had to improvise by wrapping a GorillaPod around the flimsy branch of a nearby bush. The branch was too thin to support the camera on its own but it did help steady my camera enough to enable me to capture a sharp image.
