On safari in Botswana we came across this leopard having its first drink of the day. Seeing one of the big cats in its natural habitat is an immensely rewarding experience. Leopards are such shy, solitary, animals that it is a minor miracle to see them during the day, like this. The pure pleasure of being able to experience the moment is indescribable. It is almost as if time itself came to a standstill.
