Later during the day, when the sun was setting and shining in the window bright is when I was able to capture water drops.Lighting
I wanted a good zoom, to get the blurred effect. I had plenty of sunlight through the window to achieve a sharper image and color.Equipment
I used my NikonD 3100 with an iso of 400, aperture at 5.6, using standard zoom of 75-200.Inspiration
While washing the dishes, I happen catch a glimpse the sun bouncing off the droplets of water. The sun danced in the back and I couldn't resist, but to grab my camera.Editing
I added some black the image, cropped tighter, and lightened it just enough to draw you in.In my camera bag
I always keep my 18-22mm and 75-200mm lenses my bag. I have lens cleaners, caps for my lenses, extra battery, an extra SD card, and an external flash for backup!Feedback
The amount of lighting is very important, the more light the sharper. Zooming causes the light to blur or sparkle, so to speak, giving it a beautifully lit bokeh effect. Remember that rule of thirds is a very promising technique to capture your viewer's attention and draw them into the subject.
