Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in a studio at college. I took a Digital Photography class.

Time

It was during the afternoon class, We were aloud to bring in anything we wanted to shoot.

Lighting

I wanted the shells to stand alone and have a slight shadow in the back. I put them on top of a white reflector.

Equipment

I used my Cannon T2 to take this photo, regular lens and a tripod. I also used the lights with umbrellas.

Inspiration

I have always loved seashells since a little girl. These are decorations in my bathroom at home. I never part from them.

Editing

I usually give all my photos like this one a little more vibrancy to bring out color and detail.

In my camera bag

I have my CannonT2 with me and I always carry extra effect lenses. I love to use the macro lens to capture an insect clearly.

Feedback

Play around with the settings on the camera and lighting until you get what you want.
