I took this photo right in my hometown of Whitewater Wisconsin. I was in my car when I saw it and I went down to the end of the street knowing that there would be a clear view of it got out of my car and took the photo.Time
I was coming home from shopping around 6:30 when I took this photo, rainbows always seem to be out and about between 6:30 and 8:00 at night in my experience seeing them.Lighting
it stopped raining where I was standing when I took this photo I did not have to do anything special to the lighting it came out crystal clear on manual.Equipment
This photo was taken with my Canon t2i the lens was 18-55 mm f/3.5. no other equipment was with me at the time.Inspiration
God's promise of the rainbow is what inspired me to take this photo. Seeing a rainbow is always special and should always be captured on film.Editing
The only thing I did to the photo was put it in Photoshop and enhance the color of the sky and clarity of the photo.In my camera bag
I usually only have my camera with me in my bag and the lens that's always on it I don't have any extra flash equipment but I do have a tripod that I carry with me in my car.Feedback
The only advice I can give to capture a rainbow is you have to have your camera on you at all times and be at the right place at the right time.
