The lighting was quite a chalenge, it was a rainy and windy evening and I did not have my own tripod with me but luckily I could borrow one from a friend. Exposure is 8 seconds at f 8.0 and using 100 ISO.Equipment
For this particular shot I was using my walk-around camera, the Sony RX100 mark II in stead of my usual gear, the Sony 7R mark IIInspiration
The colors and reflections in the water are very attractive, combined with the nice skyline of Rotterdam cityEditing

Bring a sturdy tripod and a remote release trigger. Long exposures give the water a silky look and allow you to use a small aperture which is good for depth of field and overall sharpness. Use a low ISO setting ... 100 - 400 ... in order to reduce the digital noise.
