Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photograph as I was rediscovering the old village of a vacation town I used to go many years ago. When I spotted the old house with the window I already had photographed, I advanced and looked through, and the wonderful light going though the other window inside, called me to do this photograph sneaking through the original window! This actually is a window photograph through another window...

Time

It was in the afternoon, early afternoon I think.

Lighting

Yes, definitely! The wonderful fall of the natural light inside from the other window was the reason I did this photograph.

Equipment

Canon EOS 400D DIGITAL, no tripod, no flash...

Inspiration

To begin with I am much interested in doors and windows. Although that is the starting point, the super fall of the light was my main inspiration and it was coupled with my interest in capturing interiors.

Editing

I do not recall exactly what I did with this photograph. I do not like to play with the original capture of my photos except for some small cropping if needed and a touch of shadow/highlight values, a bit of sharpness, may be; so nothing further than that!

My camera, spare batteries, spare cards.
