This shot was taken in 2014 after our first major winter storm. Everything the next day was covered in fresh snow or covered in a thick layer of ice. This foliage in my yard was too beautiful not to stop in time. The natural colours pop out like they are yearning for someone to notice. And although covered in ice, look warm and comforting.
