Castle Crags State Park is located 9.6 km (6 mi) south of Dunsmuir or 77 km (48 mi) north of Redding along I-5. The Vista Point is a perfect location to view the Castle Crags, Mount Shasta, and nearby Grays Rocks. We park at the Vista Point parking lot, a 0.4 km (0.25 mi) accessible trail leads us to Vista Point.
