This photo was taken long time ago on film, then the digital camera was still in early stage, with Nikon F3 camera on ektachrome film with 300 mm. lens because compress the row of pine tree plantation with the path in the centre leading to the green opening which been with the rest of the image quite well. It was in the afternoon while visiting a country side in Thailand.Time
This was taken in mid afternoon.Lighting
Natural lighting only.Equipment
Nikon F3 on ektachrome film. Only recently it was scanned onto the computer. The lens was Nikor 300 mm. I use long lens for the compression of row of pine trees to form the walls with a path in the centre leading to green opening . Tripod was use for the composition and sharpness,Inspiration
I like the row of vertical patterns on both sides forming a tunnel in the centre with the opening at the end.Editing
The photo needed post processing as it was scanned from an old film and the colour was fading, The effects used causing blurred effects at the top and bottom. The technique that I learned from a magazine and tried it out.In my camera bag
I don't travel much now but still like photography so the main subjects are now flowers which one can find anywhere and one can create art from it. So , now I mainly used Nikon D2X with Nikor 105 mm. macro lens.Feedback
The similar scene can be found in most plantations with little imagination one can create good work form them. With nature photography good subjects could be found just around one's home. Many times one saw something nice ask yourself why and use your camera techniques try capturing it beauty. I now took my photos in RAW so they all needed post processing.
