This photo was taken over 30 years ago while walking along a coast. I found this interesting structure. To me it the impression of power and strength trying to reach at something. It was also a symbols of time and endurance.Lighting
A symbol of time and endurance that nothing can replace.Equipment
This was taken a long time ago and I have change many cameras ever since but if I remember correctly this was taken with Nikon F2 camera with normal lens with natural lighting. I am not sure if tripod was used.Inspiration
Nature is beautiful and it can teach us a lot if one know how to look.Editing
Certainly post-processing was done as this was taken on an ektachrome film before the time of digital camera and it has been left in a box for over 25 years. I only learn to use computer in the past 5 years and pnly at this time I scanned what ever I can retrieve from dust and mole on to the computer. So, certainly post- processing was needed but only the basic and the conversion to B/W.In my camera bag
Now I mainly carry my second hand Nikon full frame D2X with 105 Macro lens. I also carry one zoom 17-55 mm. if I travel any where.Feedback
If you like nature photography keep observing because there are interesting photogenic objects every where. Have a good look why the object attracts you and try capturing that onto the camera. So most pictures should be well thought out and if possible I try to avoid strong light. So most favourable time i so called the golden hour. Sometimes I photograph into very late evening and certainly a tripod is needed. With modern technology one can almost manipulate on any thing. Further more I now put my camera on Raw.
