This photograph was taken yesterday at the Madera Pomegranate Festival of 2015. We were at the Madera Municipal Airport. The photo itself seemed to me a little bland: blue field against a blue sky; the stars hardly showed up; etc. So I painted the stars on, and then decided to make the whole thing look like an oil painting.
