I have a good friend who is an up-and-coming artist. His name is Marcos Dorado Calderón, and he has two images currently showing at the National Museum of Mexican Art in Chicago, plus a show in Fresno at Arte Américas. He's teaching me to draw. This is not a drawing. It is, however, inspired by a bunch of drawings Marcos gave me for inspiration. I took the photograph in my studio, but I've applied a number of techniques in Photoshop (total 16 layers) to simulate the look of the drawings Marcos gave to me. Let me know what you think in the comments to this image! I'd very much like some feedback on this.
