Location
It is taken at a small village in the central part of South africaTime
I took this around mid day.Lighting
I wanted to try get a different perspective of the bridge, although the sky was rather boring I just love the clear blue skies we have at that time of yearEquipment
It was my Canon EOS 450D with a 18-55mm kit lens. This gave me the close and wide perspective I wantedInspiration
As I child growing up, we passed this bridge often on our holiday trips and it had always struck me as a great photo opportunity. It was only later when I had started photography that I decided to stop and make the picture I had reality. Seeing all the large metal studs and the leading lines just added to my pictureEditing
Not a lot of post editing when into this picture. Just some cropping. In my camera bag
Not a lot. I like to keep it simple when on trips. Will normally have a wide angle lens and then a zoom of sorts depending on the destination.Feedback
Get close and get low. This will always give you a different perspective
