Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in my gardenn at the end of Winter

Time

Taken just after Midday

Lighting

Although it was taken at midday the sky was very grey.

Equipment

Shot with a Canon 450D, Sigma 50-500mm lens with a tripod

Inspiration

weavers and their nest building have always fascinated me. I was trying to capture him bring back a palm leaf strip and was very surprised to see him bring back such a large leaf

Editing

I did some sharpening and then tightened the crop

In my camera bag

I normally have my Canon 70D, sigma 150-500mm lense and canon 18-135 mm, a tripod and a remote cable

Feedback

Be patient. The shot will happen. This shot was one of 120 pictures that I took of him flying back and forth.
