I manually blended 3 exposures in Ps CCIn my camera bag
My camera backpacks have a Canon EOS 6D, Canon EOS 60D, Canon EF 16-35mmf/2.8L II usm lens, Rokinon 14mm f/2.8, Canon 300mm telephoto lens, The Panasonic Lumix camera I won here in a viewbug contest :-), several flashlights and headlamp, Lee Filter set of ND grads and a Big Stopper, some random tools and duct tape and on the side a couple tripods.Feedback
Always take your time setting up a good composition and take multiple exposures at various exposure levels. Make sure the focus is tac sharp and flows out to the background without blurring out. I set it manually. In post blend the exposures together using only what you want for certain areas like the darker exposure for the sky and the lighter ones for the foreground. This can be done with simple hdr software or manually done with layers in PhotoShop. The sunstar in this photo is a result of the 16-35 L II lens at f/16. I like it subtle like this and feel f/22 is a bit much sometimes and f/16 gives this perfect star shape without causing big flares on the rest of the image.
