This may be the most haunted hotel room in the world! It is room 217 at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park Colorado. It is the haunted room Stephen King stayed in when he got the inspiration to write the Shining. The hotel has been the subject of many ghost hunting television shows and is very popular on Halloween. I have stayed at the hotel many times and always had a great experience but I have never stayed in room 217.
