Location
Sunset at lake Pamamaroo, Menindee Lakes New South Wales AustraliaTime
The photo was taken on 20th April 1212 as the days were getting shorter I only had a short time to shoot a series of images. Beautiful Sunset with the scene changing constantly allowing me to capture some great shotsLighting
All lighting and weather condition were perfect with just the right amount of cloud cover to create a lot of colorsEquipment
Panasonic DMZ-FZ50 Iso 100 13.8mm F4.5 1/200 no tripod or other equipment was used except resting the camera on the roof of my vehicle to prevent camera shake.Inspiration
We were camped at this lake for a few days and had a reasonably good sunset the previous days so I positioned myself in a good spot and waited for the sunset, which certainly didn't disappoint This photo was published in the Australian Bureau of meteorology calendar for March 2016Editing
This photo had absolutely no post-processingIn my camera bag
I normally used to carry very little equipment but now carry a tripod and other lenses for my new equipment. The DMZ_F50 is a fixed lens camera.Feedback
Patience and be prepared for opportunities
