Location
This photo was taken in the area where I live called Clyde Valley in Scotland. The river is called the river Clyde and is located in a very historical part of Lanarkshire that dates back to 11.40 AD when William Wallace was on horse back travelling between Bothwell and Stirling also Edinburgh Castles. The main street in Lanark is where the old markets were, also where one of the main battles between the Scots and the English took place.Time
About 1 o,clock in the afternoon.Lighting

Camera is a Canon Power Shot SX 40 free holding no tripod.Inspiration
I decided to go out and take some photographs. This area I know very well as I pass this view every day on the way too and from my workplace. The is a photo of an old Roman Bridge deep in the hart of Clyde Valley Scotland. And I have been planning to take this photo for some time now. the area itself is very picturesque, and stunningly beautiful, especially during the winter months with all the beautiful Autumn colours or perhaps the winter driven snow.Editing

If you are able to pick a reasonably bright day if you are planning to take external photographs, I would also advise fitting your camera onto a tripod to cut down on any unwanted vibration that will assist you in taking a much better quality photo. Other points you may consider is to reset the camera for a long exposure shot this will capture the river in a misty, cloudy look taking the photo in another dimension.
