I took this photo of Kilchurn Castle while I was on holiday at the North Argyll and Bute peninsula of Scotland.Time
It was early morning about 10.00 amLighting
I decided to take the photo on the auto setting also set for a bright day hoping to capture this beautiful and tranquil setting that dates back to the 1400s.Equipment
I used a Fiji Fine Pix S1500. The aperture was f/4.4 and the ISO was 100. The exposure was 10/1500.I held the camera free hand without a tripod.Inspiration
I was on holiday within the North Argyll and Bute Peninsula of Scotland and my family and I were out exploring the area when we came across the beautiful and very tranquil scene of Kilchurn Castle. The Castle was built by the Campbell Clan in the mid 1400s by Sir Collin Campbell who was the first Lord of Glenorchy in 1432.The castle itself sits to the north eastern end of Loch Awe, in the Argyll and Bute region of Scotland. What inspired me to take this photograph is that the area itself is very photographic, creating a spell binding atmosphere which captures the very essence of Scotland.Editing
no post processing was undertaking. In my camera bag
Macro and Filter lenses, battery packs, lens hood, and lens adapters.Feedback
Set up your camera onto your tripod and take as many shots as required in various angles and positions, as you must take full advantage when you get the chance to photograph such a beautiful scene. You have many options on what kind of photo you want to produce, for example you may use filter lenses to darken down the shade of the water and the surrounding areas,or perhaps set your camera for a long exposure shot these suggestions will in fact change the whole dimension of each photo you take of the same scene. This way you will be able to compare the different images and effects therefore will help you in the future of what kind of photo you may require.
