I had been meaning to return to this location when the light was right for a long time. I first came across is as my girlfriend suggested we go for a picnic there. A stunning river runs down a valley on the side of Black Combe, widening just before this point before flowing our into the Irish Sea. The sun was in the perfect position, and I just had to stay even if it meant walking back in the dark!
