This is my Mothers favorite image and she was with me when I took this making it one of my favorite memories. Taken on a glorious October afternoon while taking a walk with my family.Lighting

This was taken with my first real camera, my canon powershot sx710 hs. Up to this point I had been taking my photos with my phone. No special equipment, Nothing fancy needed with such a great view.Inspiration
Just on a good walkabout with my folks and the lake was just like glass that day. The golden leaves from the aspens gave a wonderful frame for the reflective lake and mountains.Editing

At that time I was just beginning my journey into photography and so there was nothing in the bag other than my powershot. I know carry a Nikon D7000 with several lenses, cleaners, gum, and a hat, but some of my favorite images came from my first camera.Feedback
The best response I can give to this, is get out and shoot. Take the time to try new things. Have patience to wait for the perfect shot. It is the most rewarding hobby I have ever taken up.
