This cat image is too cute for words! I agree about the copyright. Could be much smaller.

This photo was taken in my home my kitty was just little enough to fit in the window seal, I thought it was to cute and I couldn't pass it up so I took the shot. The lighting was perfect the way he was laying couldn't be better. Everything set up itself I just took the photo.Time
This photo was probably taken in the afternoon there is a lot of light coming through the window. He is just glowing with all of the light behind him!Lighting
This photo was taken in color as I love color I felt this photo looked better in black and white, color gave the eye distractions from the main subject. When I put this photo in black and white I felt the emotions through it and now pay more attention to the main focus of the cat.Equipment
This photo was shot with my Nikon D3100 first "professional"l camera with a 20-50mm lens.Inspiration
When I saw my cat laying in the window seal I thought oh what a cute photo this would make. When I took the photo I saw the lighting was perfect he looked my way at just the right moment everything was lined up for a split second to be able to make this shot happen.Editing
I did post-processing in Lightroom. I brought the clarity up to make his details a little more sharp I also made this photo black and white. I also brought down some highlights that I felt over powered my subject. In my camera bag
I always carry with my everywhere my Nikon D7200 and an 18-200mm lens. I love my D7200 and I do not go anywhere with out it. You never know when a moment can happen and you want to get that perfect shot. I carry extra batteries and SD cards you don't want to be somewhere and run out of space or have a dead battery, that could never end well. I carry an off camera flash and extra batteries for that as well. I always have with me my lens cleaner and lens spray just in case I feel like getting in the dirt for some photos and need to clean it up after!Feedback
Pro-tip always check the weather before any photoshoot, make sure you know when the sun is setting and shoot 2 hours before the sun sets, that way when you are on your photoshoot you have some perfect lighting and could get some beautiful pink skies in your photos as well. Always prepare the day before a shoot so you don't forget any props or extras you may need. Stay in contact with your subjects show excitement for them and about their photos. Best of luck to new photographers we all started somewhere, practice makes perfect!
