This is my cat Texas. I adopted him from craigslist from people who likely were running a kitten mill. He was severely skinny and had ring worm and a bunch of other infections that were eating him up. At 5 weeks he was only 7 ounces and I could feel every bone in his body. It took a lot of sleepless nights, a lot of money that my friends helped me with (plus Care Credit) to get this guy back on his paws. He nearly died one night and I had to rush him to an emergency vet at 2 am...On this photo is is all better and he was absolutely CRAZY! It felt as if he was playing, biting and scratching 10 times more than any other kitten. I even reached out to an animal behaviorist one time because of this guy's attitude. Now he is a big and a very fat lazy cat :)
