I took this photo at my friend's house in a living room.Time
MiddayLighting
It was a bit tricky for me since I usually prefer natural light and I am not very experienced in using more advanced lighting. But this one was different. The room was very dark with no windows, we also used a black backdrop, so more than a flash was required. I asked my friend to borrow more lighting gear. There were 2 continuous lights, a flash, and a large soft box with an alien bee. The soft box was facing the wall in the opposite direction from the subject (and bouncing the light), because the size of the room was too small and the subject was over exposed even with the soft box when I tried the first few shots.Equipment
Nikon D5100, 35 mm lens, Alien bees, continuous lights, Nikon SB900, large softbox.Inspiration
My friend actually requested to take photos of her for an art project she was working on. She plays harp, so we created this image. Several people ended up being involved in a project: a friend who offered his house as a studio space, my friend who was a model and who needed the photos, my friend who let me borrow his lighting gear, a friend of mine who brought us the fabric and draped the model. It was a team effort.Editing
Yes I erased some issues with the backdrop (foot prints, wrinkles etc.) I also enhanced the color green just a tad bit to enhance it.In my camera bag
I have recently changed my gear, so right now it is Canon 3d Mark ii, 50mm canon 1.8, yongnuo flash, light reflectorFeedback
