This photo was on a camping trip in Oregon. We actually had just stopped for the night on the way down to visit family. Our beautiful black lab fur baby Tataunka "Taunka" Lynn crawled under the picnic table that was there to sit in the shade. I was sitting in my fold-out chair and got my camera out and snapped a few pictures of her. This one she looked right at me and smiled. A memory was created!Time
This was early evening in the summer, probably about 6 pm or very close.Lighting
I had plenty of natural lighting, with great shade and sun pockets. She was under the table, it gave me a mysterious look to all the pictures I was taking!Equipment
I used my fujifilm DSLR and just held it in my hand. no flash because the natural light was perfect.Inspiration
I was inspired to take this photo, because getting her to sit still for a picture was very hard. She was an active girl and didn't seem to hold still much. She was happy to be out of the motorhome and not moving, and I loved the look on her face. Any day I get a picture of her is a good day.Editing

I always have a set of lenses, filters, I carry extra batteries for the camera and a tripod in a separate case. I have soft cloths to keep the lens clean.Feedback
it takes patience and the right amount of timing. Like I said, I took several other pictures and this is the one I kept. I take pictures of things I love, that helps a lot!
