This photo was take at home and the dog is my jack russell terrier .. now she used to love spending time running around the garden and barking day and night at the 6 foot tall gate as people would pass .. the neighbours was not happy and I got tired of calling her in to stop her barking . so I then decided to cut a hole just the right size for her head so she could see out of the gate in a bid to stop her barking at any little noise.. did it work ? . No infact it made her much more vocal now she could see what she was barking at .. now the neighbours dislike me even more and the postman hates me as he has to pass the gate every day and she is there waiting to make him jump .Time
mid day as the light was just about right .Lighting
I just shoot what I see no matter what the lighting and never try to over think a photo the frill for me is pressing the shutter and freezing that moment in time .Equipment
hand held with a pentax k50 no flash and 18-55mm kit lens / iso 800 - f/5.6 at -1/100 shutter speedInspiration
the love for my dog inspired this shot . as I know she will not always be with me I want to capture as many memmories of her as I can .Editing
I do very little editing and use the most basice software .. in many cases I crop adjust the hue/sat and cont/bri .In my camera bag
I normaly carry a sigma 150-500mm mounted to one of my pentax k50 bodysFeedback
advice to others is just shoot what you see even something you see every day maybe of great intrest to others and will one day become a lost moment in time frozen forever .
