i love the creativity of the composition of this image, and i readily accept the idea that every artist has his or her own approach or style, but i would love to see a variation on this; take it into photoshop or some such software, and only darken the shadow/darker levels of the image towards a true black. hold the skin tone pretty much just where it currently is. only a suggestion, but i am thinking it would look great that way. the higher contrast of richer black might also make it a candidate for a black and white image, but i am less sure of that one. i just know the yellow berries would really pop out on a darker field of hair.
