The Rainy streets contest reminded me of this picture I took many years ago. Taken with a Zenit B film camera with 58mm lens. No automatic exposure meter , no meter at all in fact. You had to either buy an exposure meter or , as in this case, guess using the guide on the film packet.
A bit of a happy accident. I was photographing the gargoyles and a woman with the umbrella walked in front of me, so I took the picture again. When I got the film processed, I found that the woman was only to the side when I pressed the shutter, I think , the umbrella makes the picture.
