On a late August evening my friends and I drove through Wyoming prairie towards Devil's Tower. Once it got sufficiently dark the bright orange full moon began raising over the far horizon. You could stop anywhere and just keep taking pictures - the view of the moon over the dark night prairie and distant hills was surreal. I asked my friends for a stop as we were passing this farm. I got out of the car and walked around looking for the most interesting view, and then I realized that the farm gate provides an excellent natural frame for the scene.
