Roses’ is an adventure into the exploration of the details seen in Roses that we often overlook. Many admire the smell and colors, but very few truly see the texture and delicacy these flowers. Roses #1 is just the first shot meant to provide the close up look into this. The two toned rose provided great contrast and explored a depth I had not anticipated prior to shooting it. The only way to fully see these details and contrast are in black and white.
